Location:
The Southworth Planetarium is in the Science Building on the University of Southern Maine's Portland Campus. The building's physical address is 70 Falmouth Street, Portland, Maine.\
HOURS
ON THE WEEKEND, WE ARE OPEN FROM 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday for our matinees. (No Sunday matinees June, July or August.)
WEEK HOURS ARE VARIABLE.
We have public shows at 7:00 and 8:30 p.m. Friday evenings; 3:00 p.m. matinees on Saturdays and Sunday (No Sunday matinees in June, July, and August.)
We have daily matinees in Summer (July-August) as well as school vacation weeks (December, February and April).

We are open throughout the week. Not only do we have public shows, but we offer private shows to school groups, scout troops, birthday parties, business organizations, and more.
