The USM School of Music is proud to host the Maine Music Educators Association and hundreds of student musicians from all over Maine who have been selected to perform in the MMEA All State Music Festival from May 16 to 18 on the USM Gorham campus.

The USM Jazz Ensemble performs a variety of big band repertoire from both the Count Basie Orchestra and the Duke Ellington Orchestra. Come and enjoy this "Battle of the Bands." Directed by Chris Oberholtzer.

The Fithian Festival concert will take place on May 4 at 8 p.m. at Corthell Concert Hall on the USM Gorham campus. The vocal concert will include compositions by Bruce Fithian, a performance by the St. Mary's Schola, several alumni students who have succeeded in opera, and the USM Chamber Singers. Admission is free.
