The study abroad possibilities are endless and the number of choices can easily be overwhelming. To help make your decision easier USM has developed the following lists of APPROVED study abroad programs organized by geographic location.


AFRICA

This list includes study abroad options in Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Madascagar, Mali, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda/Uganda, Senegal, South Africa and Tanzania.


ASIA

This list includes study abroad options in China, India, Hong Kong, Japan, Jordan, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, the UAE and Vietnam


EUROPE

This list includes study abroad options in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Monaco, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Spain and Switzerland


LATIN AMERICA

American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS): Business & Politics in the EU, European Art and  Architecture and Italian Influence on Western Civilization

Augsburg College Center for Global Education: Programs in Central America and Southern Africa that focus on human liberation and global justice

Global Learning Semesters: Programs that include India & Asia or various location in the Mediterranean

International Studies Abroad (ISA): Multi country program in Latin America

Semester at Sea: Using a ship as a traveling campus, undergraduates, lifelong learners, faculty, and lecturers live and learn together while circumnavigating the globe. 

School for International Training (SIT): Multicountry programs focusing on social justice and sustainability.
