USM Art Department

BFA in Art with a Concentration in Art Education

The goal of this degree is to prepare graduates to be both practicing artists and successful teachers of art. This requires that students have, in addition to liberal arts general studies, art content studies that include a broad range of studio experiences with a studio concentration, art history experiences, and professional education studies.
