*Our campus is now moving toward an Electronic Course Evaluation (ECE) process. USM's current Green Course Evaluation form has been converted in an electronic format...called the E-Green Form. We have 12 academic departments that have chose to participate in the Fall 2013 pilot. Demonstration/presentations of the new electronic procedures are being scheduled during the fall semester for faculty/departments. *The major benefits of an ECE process are the following......1) Department-specific items can be added to the E-Green Form.2) Faculty can add their own course-specific items to the evaluation form by using the faculty portal of the software.3) Departments do not have to organize, distribute, or collect evaluation forms, the Academic Assessment office will administer the E-Green Form by email to your students.4) Results can be processed immediately after the evaluation deadline, and will be available to Department Chairs and faculty after grades are posted.5) Students have a two-week time period to complete the evaluation, and can complete the evaluation from any computer, laptop, or mobile device (in-class or out-of-class).6) Strategies and incentives are being discussed to encourage response rates from students. *If your department is interested in switching to the E-Green Form, contact Susan King, Office of Academic Assessment.
