Office of the Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education

Overview

The Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education provides support within the Office of the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs for advancing the University's academic mission in a broad range of activities, working closely with the Provost and Vice President on faculty and academic issues. 

The Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education is charged with advocating for and advancing the missions of the Honors Program, Women and Gender Studies, the Russell Scholars Program, the USM General Education Core, International Education, Interdisciplinary Education and the coordination of Diversity and Inclusivity Programming.

The Associate Provost for Undergraduate Education works with the academic leadership of the university to support the institutional mission of the university, the academic integrity of its educational programs and the success of its faculty, staff and students.
