Sharoo Wengland

Sharoo Wengland serves as the secretary to the USM Board of Visitors and is the main contact person for the Office of the President. In addition to managing President Botman's complex schedule, she provides executive support, including event planning and coordination. Her duties include hiring and managing student workers employed by the Office of the President as well as working with the University of Maine System, USM vice presidents, deans, directors, staff, faculty members, alumni, and volunteers.
Sharoo has worked for the University of Southern Maine since 2005 and within the Office of the President since 2008. She has been secretary to the Board of Visitors since 2007.
She earned her B.A. degree at USM in Social and Behavioral Sciences, graduating cum laude.
