Sharoo Wengland '10

Sharoo Wengland serves as the President's special assistant; she is the liaison with the campus and the Portland and broader communities, bringing to fruition projects and events initiated by or done in collaboration with the Office of the President. She also works closely with the USM Board of visitors, serving as secretary. 

Sharoo has worked for the University of Southern Maine since 2005 and for the Office of the President since 2008. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at USM, graduating cum laude in the Social and Behavioral Sciences program, and is currently enrolled in the Adult and Higher Education graduate program.
