Transitions includes 23 paintings, drawings and prints by seven USM Art alumni, selected by juror Virginia Sassman Rose, founder of Portland’s Rose Contemporary Fine Art Gallery. 

Opening Reception: 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 16 at the AREA Gallery 
(Snow date: 5-7 p.m., Friday, March 28)
Artist talks and Best of Show Award will be held from 6-6:30 p.m.
