USM students can take advantage of a wide variety of performing and visual arts offerings, from the symphony to the cinema. Many Maine communities host monthly art walks. In Portland, it’s the first Friday of every month; in Lewiston-Auburn, it’s the last Friday, May through September. Here’s a sample listing of local arts and entertainment venues:
