Students from five courses across several disciplines have spent the Fall 2013 semester engaging in service-learning projects that address water quality issues in the Casco Bay region. This culminating showcase is an opportunity for students, faculty, community partners and the public to gather and learn about the results of these urban water service-learning projects.

Participating Courses:

CHY 233 - Analytical Chemistry (Benedict)

ESP 280 - Research and Analytical Methods (Wilson)

ESP 305 - Community Planning (Sanford)

HON 310 - Honors Global Ethical Inquiry: Nine Billion People, One Damp Rock (Artz)

SWO 365 - Examining Oppression and Valuing Diversity (Kohli)

These community projects were funded by a sub-grant from Northern New England Campus Compact and the Environmental Protection Agency's Environmental Education Sub-Grants Program.
