Writing for the Web |
|
|
Did you know that 79% of website visitors scan rather than read? That means writing a web page is very different from writing an ad or brochure. In four two-hour classes, you'll learn simple, proven techniques to make your writing tighter, information-rich and visually appealing. You'll learn how to front-load your content so you get right to the point, the proper use of headings, subheads, charts and lists. The basics of Search Engine Optimization are covered, including how to choose and use relevant keywords, page descriptions, link text and meta tags. No technical skills are needed, although a basic understanding of HTML is a plus.
