Certificate Program in Fundraising

Relationship building and "making the ask" for the right reason at the right time are skills at the core of suc-cessful nonprofit development. Prospect identification combined with understanding what motivates donors to give, including tax benefits, are bodies of knowledge that must be mastered to be an effective fundraiser.

This certificate program provides the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and develop the skills to support a variety of development activities and establish a well-rounded foundation for any professional or volunteer interested in improving their fundraising skills.

The certificate is anchored by four required courses and includes one elective which you can select to meet your particular training needs. It is recommended that the required courses be taken in order.
