Excellent Customer Service: The Value You Bring as a Customer Service Professional

Meeting the needs of customers and clients is critical to the future of any organization. It's not just the front counter clerk, but employees throughout businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies can benefit from professional service skills. Help desks, public agencies, law firms, and nonprofits employees can take pride in effectively responding to and meeting customer/client expectations. In this interactive, engaging workshop, participants will:

  • Connect with other customer service professionals and share the challenges and successes of serving others.
  • Recognize the value of the customer service part of your job and your ability to positively impact others.
  • Identify and practice tone, body language, and words and phrases that enhance telephone and face to face service.
  • Review and practice 10 strategies and a 5 step model for dealing with difficult customers.
  • Write and commit to an action plan to apply the skills on the job.
