Delegating: Accomplishing Results through Others

This course focuses on how team leaders identify tasks to be performed, develop action plans, and effectively direct the work of their team members. Participants will learn a six-step process of delegation. During this interactive course, participants will have an opportunity to practice their delegation skills and get feedback. You will learn:

  • about the barriers and benefits of delegation
  • how to plan and prioritize assignments
  • how to define the scope of work and authority
  • how to deal with resistant employees
