APICS Principles of Inventory Management

The APICS Principles of Inventory Management course will provide learners with the underlying concepts of managing inventory necessary to support customer service objectives while optimizing working capital investment. Through a discussion of some key principles of inventory, and some effective strategies in deploying inventory, the student will come away with tools to add value to today's value driven supply chains. Additionally those who take this course will understand some of the key metrics verifying the performance of those strategies. Finally, learners will be able to tie inventory concepts to lean strategies in a way that supports the cost and waste reduction driving today's organizations. Some of the concepts discussed include:
