Managing Multiple Priorities and Your Time

"I just don't have enough time. I wish there were more hours in the day!" Our lives can leave a trail of incomplete tasks. While extra time would relieve some of the pressures that people experience, the dilemma often involves confusion about priorities. During this workshop you will examine how you currently prioritize and use your time. You will build simple techniques into your work schedule to help you juggle competing demands, create more time for important responsibilities, and decrease stress. This workshop will allow you to take control of how you use your time. Managers will learn how to help their direct reports stay focused on priorities. You will learn how to:

  • focus your time on high-priority tasks and responsibilities
  • develop and monitor daily activities to achieve your priorities
  • eliminate the biggest time wasters
  • assist others in better managing their time

Participants are encouraged to complete a Time Audit for five consecutive workdays before the start of the workshop. While this is not mandatory, the Time Audit allows people to begin to uncover their improvement opportunities and to base discussions on actual data.
