Human Resources Certification Preparatory Course (PHR and SPHR)

This program is for experienced HR professionals who are preparing for the PHR or SPHR exam. If you are new to the field or updating your skills, the HR certificate program is a better choice.

Utilizing materials from the Society for Human Resource Management's Resource Learning System, this course explores practical information in each of the HR functional areas to help you reach your professional goals and prepare you for the Professional or Senior Professional in Human Resources certification exams (PHR or SPHR).

This program is delivered in partnership with the Society for Human Resource Management. Individuals who are interested in earning either the PHR or SPHR credential are urged to review the information at the HR Certification Institute ( to make sure they are well-informed about the requirements.

Jessica PalladinoJessica Palladino, SPHR, has over 15 years of HR experience. Jessica has lead numerous study groups for HR Professionals who are interested in obtaining PHR/SPHR certification. Jessica is currently the Corporate Director of Human Resources for Formed Fiber Technologies. She has held HR roles in the finance and healthcare industry. Jessica is the past President of the Central Maine Human Resource Association and past Co-Chair for the Best Places to Work in Maine campaign. Jessica has successfully sat and passed both her PHR and SPHR exams. Jessica resides in Greene with her husband and son.
