Dr. Erika Stump and Dr. Amy Johnson will provide the Maine Legislature's Joint Standing Committee on Education and Cultural Affairs with a briefing on recent research examining the impacts of Maine's proficiency-based high school diploma law on Special Education and Career and Technical Education. These studies include empirical research involving interviews of educators, administrators and state leaders as well as legal counsel. The written reports will be published and released after the public briefing.
