On October 22nd, the CMS faculty unanimously voted to remove the 2.5 GPA requirement from our majors. This change is effective immediately. Students will still need a C or better in all courses required for a B. A. in Communication or a B.A. in Media Studies. The College of Arts and Sciences 2.0 GPA requirement remains in effect. We were the only department in the College of Arts and Sciences to require a higher GPA and we felt this was unfair to our majors.
