4th Annual Civic Matters Symposium of Community Based Projects and Research
Friday November 16th, 2012, 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Wishcamper Center, USM Portland campus
Civic Matters celebrates community-engaged work across USM that enriches student learning and addresses community-identified needs. Through this work, students gain greater engagement, academic success, and civic learning.
For USM and our community partners, collaboration brings student intellect and energy to address immediate needs, and creates rich opportunities to tackle problems that neither could solve alone. Collaborative poster and oral presentations from students, faculty and community partners showcase this work.
Submit your project proposal online today! Deadline to submit is Friday October 12th.
Poster Design Workshops will be held on 10/26/12 from 11:00 a.m. in Luther Bonney 203 and on 10/29/12 at 1:00 p.m. in Luther Bonney 144. The workshops will run about one hour. If you are not able to attend one of the workshops please contact Carol Sobczak for individual support at 207-780-4029 or by Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
