How to Talk to the World
When you use Pegasus Mail from home, you don't have to stay connected to the modem pool all the time. You only have to be connected when you are downloading your new mail or when you are sending mail out to other people. When you create a new mail file and click on the send button, it does not get sent out automatically. It gets placed in a queue so that you can create a bunch of mail files and send them all at one time to save on the amount of time you are connected to the modem pool.
The toolbar at the top of the Pegasus Mail window contains three icons to send and receive mail:
Send all outgoing mail waiting in the mail queue.
(Send your mail to the world.)
Check your POP3 host for new mail.
(Get your mail from the world.)
Check for new mail and send queued
mail in one action. (Send your mail to the world and get your mail from the world.)
