Point and Print
IT Network Services supports "Point and Print" on USM's NetWare Network. Point and Print is a system whereby users on Windows-based PC's can easily set up to print to networked printers. The process, described in greater detail below, consists of finding a printer and double-clicking on it, and then answering a few questions. All of the drivers necessary to support the chosen printer are installed automatically, without the need for further user intervention. Point and Print greatly simplifies the most cumbersome part of printing—the initial printer setup.
