WebDSIS: Faculty and Staff Access to Student Records

The University of Maine System has in place a web-based Distributed Student Information System (WebDSIS) that allows you to access student account information. Your web browser must be either Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher or Netscape 7.0 or higher.

1. Choose your browser and go to: www.usm.maine.edu.
2. Go to the Quick Links feature and select Student Information (WebDSIS).
3. Click on GO.
4. Choose Faculty or Staff as the user type and USM as the campus.
5. Enter your id (your social security number) and PIN. If you need to change your PIN, please call Pat Davis at 780-5911.
6. Click on Log In.

The Function Selection Menu allows access to student information.

• Click on Class List to view class lists for a term using the CRN assigned to the course.
• Click on Course Search to get the CRN, number of students enrolled in course and status of courses.
• Click on Pre-Req Check to view pre-reqs for courses.
• Click on Degree Audit to view degree audits and shop for a degree.
• Click on Address Info to view your current address(es) and email address(es) on file.
• Click on Term Schedule to view your current academic schedule.
• Click on Term Grade to view your grades for a particular semester.
• Click on Enrollment Verification to view enrollment status on Letterhead with Registrar's signature.
• Click on Academic Program to view your current academic record, degrees awarded, and Test Scores.
• Click on Academic History to view in detail/summary your academic history.
• Click on Financial Aid to view your financial aid information.
• Click on Student Bill to view your student bill information and tax info.
• Click on Registration to register for classes.
