Please join us for the first annual USM Community Bean Supper, a time to come together and welcome Spring after a very long winter.
Faculty, staff, students, and families are invited!
Adults are $10.09, children are $4.91, and children under 2 are free!
Aramark has graciously offered to serve the bean supper as their main meal that evening, and seating is available in the dining hall with students and in the Presidential/Faculty dining room. The menu includes: baked beans (vegetarian), hot dogs, biscuits, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and lots of PIE!
We hope to see you all there, for what we hope will become an annual event.
USM Community Bean Supper
Thursday, March 20th, 4:30pm-7pm (raffle at 6pm)
Dining Hall, Brooks Student Center
No RSVP needed--just come to the dining hall on the 20th, and pay at the swipe station (where you can use a meal plan, husky bucks, cash, or visa/mastercard).
If you can't make the supper but would like to help the cause, we are also holding a 50/50 raffle with proceeds going to the USM General Scholarship Fund.
Raffle tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, and we would be happy to send you some via campus mail as well if you are interested in supporting the raffle/scholarship fund that way; we will also be selling the tickets at the entrance to the dining hall on the night of the bean supper. Prizes include: 50% of the proceeds, a ticket and CD package from the School of Music, a USM Husky blanket and other USM gear, a $25 gift card to the bookstore, posters and catalogs from the Osher Map Library, jewelry, a free team entry to the Gorham Into the Mud Challenge and more! (You do not need to be present to win). For more information or to purchase a raffle ticket, please contact Libby Bischoff at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We hope to see you in Gorham on Thursday the 20th!
