BUS 370: Management Science

(Faculty: Muhammad El-Taha | CTEL Learning Designer: Pieter Tryzelaar)

BUS 370: Management Science was launched in the Fall 2013 semester. Dr. Muhammad El-Taha was the instructor. CTEL Learning Designer Pieter Tryzelaar collaborated on the course design.

BUS 370 ScreenshotTrying to adapt BUS 370 into an online platform proved to be a significant challenge. Firstly, the face-to-face version of the course was known as one of the most difficult courses in the entire Business Administration program. Secondly, it was a high enrollment course at over 30 students. Thirdly, the course revolved heavily around group work. The final, and perhaps most difficult, hurdle of all was that the online version needed to be condensed into just seven weeks- instead of fourteen, as was the norm.

In addition, Dr. El-Taha provides a massive amount of supplemental learning materials in the form of instructional videos, tutorials, slide presentations, and lecture notes.
