Nation wide there are many resources to promote equity and diversity in schools.
- Report: For Each and Every Child: A Strategy for Education Equity and Excellence - 2013 report calling for strategies to address the educational opportunity gaps that lead to achievement gaps including finance, teacher quality, early childhood education, accountability and governance
- New England Equity and Assistance Center - one of ten Equity Assistance Centers funded by the U.S. Department of Education under Title IV of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. They provide assistance in the areas of Race, Gender, and National Origin equity to public schools to promote equal educational opportunities. Equity Assistance Centers provide training and technical assistance for state or local education agencies, but requests may originate from teachers, principals, parents, community leaders, and state and district administrators. Any such person may initiate contact that leads to services through the Equity Assistance Centers.
