USM Student Awarded Maine Athletic Trainer Association's Student Scholarship for 2013

Tara Moore, a senior student in the Department of Exercise, Health and Sport Sciences Athletic Training Education Program has been awarded the Maine Athletic Trainer Association's Student Scholarship for 2013. Named in honor of Wes Jordan, an athletic trainer from the state of Maine and an inductee into the National Athletic Trainers' Association's Hall of Fame, this scholarship is awarded to an athletic training student who demonstrates a dedication to the athletic training profession by maintaining a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Upon graduating from USM Tara will be continuing her education at the University of Alabama where she has received an Athletic Training Graduate Assistantship and has been accepted into the University's Graduate School.
