The engineering transfer program allows students to begin engineering studies at USM as general engineering and then complete an engineering degree at the University of Maine or elsewhere. All University of Southern Maine students in this program are eligible to transfer to any accredited engineering program in the country for the completion of the degree.
Courses & Requirements
Students in the Engineering Transfer Program are subject to the same admittance requirements of other Bachelor of Science degree programs in Engineering that USM offers.
The program follows the first two years of our degree programs, which are for the most part common to all engineering degrees throughout the country, emphasizing calculus, physics and engineering science. The sequence may be customized to serve the particular degree target of the student.
