Portland has a wide variety local and some so-so ethnic restaurants. Because the area is a popular tourist destination, you have to be careful in selecting the restaurants to avoid the tourist traps (e.g., Drydock, D’Millos, and Gilbert's to name a few, which are all on the waterfront).
