Impact is now accepting applications to join their team in September 2016. Early application deadline is September 12th. They also have immediate positions available. Impact is a non-profit program of leading advocacy organizations, including Environment America and USPIRG, that runs grassroots campaigns. The goal of the fall campaign is to prevent future uranium mining from the Grand Canyon, by getting the Obama Administration to create the “Grand Canyon Heritage National Monument.” This will protect the 1.7 million acres surrounding the Grand Canyon, our drinking water and sacred places for generations to come. In order to win this campaign we are working all across the US to gather national support on the issue. You can learn more and apply on their website or reach out to their local organizer, Danielle Meltz at dmeltz@weareimpact.org or 720-450-4495.
