Loans Available for Parents

  • Federal Direct PLUS Loans - Parents of dependent undergraduate students may borrow a Direct PLUS loan to help cover the student's college costs.  A student's dependency status and cost of education are determined using US Department of Education criteria.  Learn more about the program.

First-year applicants who have also completed their USM application by April 1, 2015 will be automatically considered for merit scholarships and our new Bright Future and USM Husky scholarships.
