Finance and Administration Mission Statement Finance and Administration Office is one of seven divisions within the administration of University of Southern Maine. In support of the mission of the University, and in order to anticipate and meet the needs of our students, we shall maintain and continually improve the process that protects the financial integrity of the University of Maine System through effective communication, management, and control of financial information. The goals of the office are to direct the planning and budgeting cycle, to provide information for internal planning and the decision-making process, and to facilitate the reporting requirements of the University. We also oversee all financial and accounting functions and formulate and administer the organization's overall financial plans and policies. Richard R.
