Maine Memory Network Grant Awarded
The Franco-American Collection is pleased to announce the award of a Community Mobilization Grant by the Maine Historical Society, as part of its Maine Memory Network Project.
The award of $740 will be used to facilitate an upcoming exhibition of materials on Franco-American childhood, which will be displayed at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston.
The collection of artefacts, photographs and oral history accounts will also be digitized and displayed online at the Maine Memory Network's website. If you have childhood materials or memories that you would like to contirbute, please contact the Collection at 207-753-6545 or franco@usm.maine.edu
