Carolyn Eyler

Carolyn Eyler has been Director of Exhibitions and Programs at USM since 1997. Her degrees include a B.F.A. in Sculpture from Virginia Commonwealth University and an M.A. in Curatorial Studies from the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, Annondale-on-Hudson, New York, where she attended on a fellowship.
Eyler has served for fifteen years in the museum profession including positions as Artmobile Curator for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and Curator at William King Regional Arts Center in Abingdon, Virginia.
Eyler is currently writing on buddhism's influence on contemporary art for an exhibit featuring the artist collective SIMPARCH.
