Minor in Anthropology
To receive a minor in anthropology, students must take at least 18 credits of anthropology courses.
Any extra credits beyond these required 18 will go towards general elective credits.
Courses & Requirements
Of those 18 credits, students are required to take ANT 101 (Anthropology: The Cultural View-3 credits) and ANT 103 (Introduction to Archaeology-3 credits).
Students must also take any 4 courses for 12 credits total from 2 different subfields of anthropology, ie, cultural anthropology, archaeology, and biological anthropology.

ANT 102 (Biological Anthropology), ANT 201 (Human Origins), ANT 302 (Medical Anthropology).
Cultural Anthropology Courses
ANT 202 (Origins of Civilization), ANT 213 (Human Ecology), ANT 220 (North American Indians), ANT 222 (Peoples of the North), ANT 232 The Anthropology of Sex and Gender, ANT 233 (Food & Culture), ANT310 (History of Anthropological Thought), ANT 315 (Ethnography: Methods, Ethics, & Practice), ANT 355 (Public Interpretation in Anthropology).
