Dr. Mark L. Hineline, Environmental Studies, University of California, San Diego will give a lecture titled: "Climate, War, and Cinder Cones: Localizing the Consequences of a Significant Climate Perturbation in the Prehistoric American Southwest."  Dr. Hineline received his B.A. in Philosophy with a minor in Geosciences from USM in 1989.
