Thea Youngs manages the day to day activities in the lab, assists with GIS classes and research, and develops workshops and course modules. Her office is in the GIS lab.
Thea is nearing completion of a Master's degree in Community Planning and Development from USM's Muskie School, and has a B.A. in Geography from Mount Holyoke College. Prior to beginning her Master's degree, she spent two years working for the Island Institute as the Chebeague Island GIS fellow.
