Health Fee

What is the health fee and what does it pay for?

USM Students taking six or more credits are automatically charged the $80 Health Fee. Students with 3-5 credits can opt to pay the Health Fee. An optional Summer Health Fee is also available for access to health and counseling services over the summer. The Student Health Fee is not insurance to use for health services or counseling services. The Health Fee is a user fee.

The Health Fee pays for:

• Unlimited office visits at the Health Center

• 12 visits per academic for Counseling Services

• Travel Clinic

• Reduced cost for Annual GYN exam and physical exams
