Research Interests

"Working Group: Reconstructing the New Deal: Towards a National Inventory of New Deal Art and Public Works." Joint meeting of the Organization of American Historians and national Council on Public History annual confeerence, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Organizer and panelist, April, 2012.

This ongoing research investigates the relation between local and national culture, and the ways in which history at the local and national level is defined, and contested, in art. This also relates to ongoing research on public art, especially monuments and statues as a reflection of changing views and reconstruction of the past.
