Zen Buddhist Roshi and social activist Bernie Glassman

Renowned Zen Buddhist Roshi and social activist Bernie Glassman will be in Portland next week to give a talk at St. Luke’s Cathedral on State Street about “Living a Life that Matters”. The event takes place at 7pm on Tuesday the 8th.

Glassman Roshi will also be making a stop at USM Portland Campus to speak with interested students and faculty on the same subject the afternoon before his talk on Tuesday between 3-4 pm in the Honor’s Center, located at 253 Luther Bonney.

 Please stop by the Honor’s Center in Portland between 3-4pm if you are interested in meeting Glassman Roshi before his talk at St. Luke’s later in the evening. If you do plan on stopping by, please contact Joshua Merrill at Joshua.d.merrill@maine.edu, so we can make sure there are accommodations for those interested.
