FACULTY ACCOUNTING #7914

University Southern Maine Department of Accounting & Finance invites applicants for a tenure-track position to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting beginning Fall 2009. Applicants at all ranks will be considered. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. / D.B.A. in accounting from an AACSB accredited institution. The position is open to candidates in all areas of accounting. Teaching responsibilities include introductory financial and/or managerial courses and upper level/graduate courses in an accounting specialty area. A demonstrated commitment to intellectual contributions and evidence of successful scholarship is expected. A commitment to providing service to the university and profession is expected. Professional experience and certification is preferred.

The School of Business at USM is accredited by AACSB International. Review of applications begins immediately and continues until the position is filled. A representative of the search committee will be in attendance and conducting preliminary interviews at the Placement Center at the August AAA meeting in Anaheim.
