DIRECTOR OF INSTITUTIONAL RESEARCH AND ASSESSMENT #9500 - search extended

As a key member of the Provost's staff, the Director has management responsibility for all institutional research functions, including data extraction, collection, analysis, and the strategic use of data. The position will provide leadership to shape and develop the Office of Institutional Research, as well as foster collaboration, creativity, and cohesion for data strategies and analyses that allow for data informed decision-making. The Director will be responsible for managing multiple analytic functions, including developing and maintaining internal and external data reporting, preparing quantitative analyses, conducting surveys, developing the Institutional Research Database, academic program inventory, department snapshots, and preparing annual mandatory federal and state reports.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree with training in quantitative research methods and 3 or more years of related experience; knowledge of key issues and concepts in higher education; ability to thrive in a complex and dynamic environment; knowledge and hands-on experience with PeopleSoft or other enterprise systems; excellent organizational skills with a commitment to accuracy and detail; the ability to effectively manage multiple short- and long-term projects; and strong written, oral, communication and interpersonal skills required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
