Assistant Professor Biochemistry #9905
The University of Southern Maine invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Biochemistry beginning fall 2010. Ph.D. required by time of appointment. Candidates interested in pursuing collaborative research efforts with existing USM faculty are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, an active research program with potential for external funding, and the ability to engage undergraduate students in collaborative laboratory-based research. The department is committed to building its undergraduate laboratory research experience through course development and external partnerships.
