IR-HR Current Projects...
Work to align the reporting functions of IR-HR with the new Information Reporting department.
Develop for use a web page that facilitates the sending of Employee Group e-mail via the USM e-mail policy guidelines.
Assume design and maintenance functions of the USM MaineStreet web site.
Merge the old web sites of SIRS and HRIS (and some parts of MIS) into the new Info Reporting Web site (this site).
Learn the web-based Oracle Enterprise Manager - a new way to manage Oracle databases at USM.
Working (with Database Application & Support department, and using Oracle Enterprise Manager) on automating the population of the Oracle database that provide the data for the USM IR-HR IntraNet and Sub-IntraNets from our initial local Oracle recepticle database which receive the nightly downloaded data from the MaineStreet System.
Working (with the MaineStreet Tech Team) on the "X-Files" - review and suggest additional fields to be included in these MaineStreet Views. These views were put together to make the writing of Queries easier for all UMS query writers, and will eventually be the only Records to query against.
Coordinate (with the MaineStreet Tech Team) & refine the nightly download of MaineStreet data to our local Oracle databases..
Define (with the UMS Query Writers Group) and refine a new "X-File" for the new Position Management module which was implemented October 27th, 2004, and then coordinate the nightly download of that file's data to our initial local Oracle recepticle database.
Continue making all the USM IR-HR .pd2 files into .jsp files.
Continue learning Toad Software (to manage Oracle connections and databases and records).
