Religious and Spiritual Life Council hiring a work study student!
Over the past week we have experienced the loss of three of our students. It is times like these, when tragedies strike, that it is important for us to come together to support one another, celebrate our strength and diversity as a community, and heal our hearts.
There will be no organized prayer service or vigil in response to the tragic shooting in Connecticut, but Chaplains and Religious Advisors are available.
Every Wednesday at lunch in Portland and late evenings in Gorham, members of USM Religious and Spiritual Life team of Chaplains and Religious Advisors invite "Table Talk" on any topic of interest to students.
200 people attended a Forum on Civil Discourse sponsored by the Maine Council of Churches and hosted by USM Office of Religious and Spiritual Life.
