Kimberly is the Interim Director of the Office of International Programs. She serves as the PDSO and RO for international students and scholars at the University of Southern Maine. Her primary roles include working with international students and scholars, advising study abroad and national exchange students and assisting the University on various international initiatives.
Kimberly is a native of Maine and can't think of any place else that she would want to call home. Maine is a beautiful state with four fabulous seasons that attracts wonderfully kind and interesting people. While the pace of life may be a little slower than some other states, Kimberly loves the vibrant arts scene filled with international dance and music. Plus Maine has some of the best food in the nation and living near the ocean is a must!
Kimberly has a BA in English Literature and a Master's in Public Policy and Management, both from the University of Southern Maine. She has worked at USM for 21 years and still very much enjoys the people she works with and the new students that she meets every day.
Kimberly lives in Portland with her husband and their two cats. In her spare time she performs and teaches as member of a professional belly dance troupe.
