You will learn and practice exploratory writing in class as a form of self-analysis as well as investigate the research on how writing about chronic illnesses or traumatic events can reduce symptoms.

This course is designed for Arts & Humanities as well as Social & Behavioral Sciences majors, anyone interested in expressive arts therapies, anyone who loves writing and storytelling, anyone who has difficulties with writing—or anyone who might like something different, an intriguing elective.

Prerequisites: College Writing (LCC 110/111) with a C or better. Cr 3
