Dean Marvin Druker Lewiston-Auburn College

Dean's Welcome

As Dean, I welcome you to the Lewiston-Auburn Campus of the University of Southern Maine.  As you become acquainted with our programs, you will see that we offer a variety of dynamic opportunities for those wishing to begin or continue their education.  At USM LAC, we offer high quality programs, small class sizes, writing and math support services, and opportunities to explore ideas from a variety of viewpoints and perspectives.  We engage with the local, regional, state, national, and international communities through programs that promote excellence in teaching and learning, service programs, and interdisciplinary studies.

We offer undergraduate interdisciplinary programs in Arts & Humanities, Leadership & Organizational Studies, Natural & Applied Sciences, and Social & Behavioral Sciences.  We also offer undergraduate degrees in Nursing and minors in Early Childhood Studies, French North American Studies, Global Studies, Human Resource Administration, Women’s Studies, and Information Systems.  USM LAC also provides opportunities for those wishing graduate education by offering Master's degrees in Occupational Therapy, Leadership Studies, and Literacy Education. Several undergraduate and graduate certificiate programs are offered at USM LAC as well. Our goal is to connect faculty, staff, students, and community members in transformative teaching and engaged learning.

I invite you to explore our website and visit our campus to see our new facility that houses LearningWorks, designed to assist students with their studies.  Talk with our faculty and staff, take courses, and think about joining our interdisciplinary conversations.

We welcome you.

Sincerely,

Marv Druker , Interim Dean
