Angela Gulielmetti, Assistant Professor of German, specializes in German-Jewish Literature, Propaganda in Nazi Children’s Literature, and Austrian Literature.  A recipient of two teaching awards and a German DAAD fellowship, she conducted research in Münster, Germany, at the Westfälische-Wilhelms-Universität and has published on the Austrian author and Nobel Prize winner, Elfriede Jelinek, and Representations of Violence in Nazi Children’s Literature. Professor Gulielmetti teaches all levels of German, “Breaking the Silence: The Aftermath of the Holocaust in Contemporary German Literature and Film” (GER 299) as well as “Foreign Language Methodology” (FLE399/EDU 554).
